One brand, real results.
One of my favorite affordable skincare brands is Naturium. This isn’t sponsored—I genuinely use and love their products. Over the years, I’ve tried countless skincare brands, products, price points, and routines, always trying to find what works best for my skin. No matter how much I experiment, I keep coming back to my Naturium routine—and every single time, it brings my skin back to life. The routine itself is simple, both morning and night, and with consistency, this affordable skincare line delivers. Every. Single. Time.
Skincare routine using all Naturium products
AM Routine:
- Vitamin C Complex Serum– I am slightly sensitive to pure l-ascorbic acid vitamin c serums, so this is my go-to vitamin c because it uses l-ascorbic acid, but also includes a vitamin c derivative, making this sensitive skin friendly. This formula also includes Kakadu plum, which is high in antioxidants to help address signs of aging. I use this every morning immediately after cleansing. It does feel slightly tacky after applying, but once you apply your other serums or moisturizer over top, it no longer feels sticky.
- Multi-Peptide Advanced Serum- I apply this serum following the vitamin c. This is one of my absolute favorite products from the Naturium line. It is a milky serum that includes encapsulated copper peptides and Argireline® Amplified peptide (the “botox in a bottle” ingredient- obviously temporary!), ferulic acid and collagen. This serum feels so lovely on the skin & I really do believe my skin looks more plump and even after I use this!
- Multi-Peptide Moisturizer- I apply this as my last step before my facial SPF. This moisturizer includes the multi-peptide blend, encapsulated ethylated vitamin C and panthenol. One pump is enough to cover the entire face and is light enough for the daytime, but rich enough for the evening (if you have combination skin like mine). What I love most is that it delivers the experience of a high-end luxury moisturizer at such an affordable price.
PM Routine:
I alternate the retinol serum and the exfoliant every other night.
- Retinol Complex Serum- I apply this immediately after double-cleansing. This serum includes encapsulated retinol, a natural bio-retinol, and bakuchiol, a plant-derived retinol alternative. This serum is perfect for sensitive skin or retinol beginners. I took an extended break from retinoids and chose this product to help me get back into a routine. It’s the perfect reintroduction because it’s so gentle on my skin while still being effective. I’ve never had any issues with irritation, and it always leaves my skin looking healthy. This serum also feels tacky after application, but it too, disappears once you add your other serums and/or moisturizer.
After I apply the retinol serum, I use the Multi-Peptide Advanced Serum again before I moisturize with the Multi-Peptide Moisturizer.
- Mandelic Topical Acid 12%- I use this on the night’s I am not using my retinol. The acid is formulated with mandelic acid, natural fruit AHAs and niacinamide to gently exfoliate. I love that this serum targets hyperpigmentation while helping to brighten and even out my complexion. After years of being inconsistent with daily SPF, I’m focused on correcting some of that damage. Plus, the specific acids in this serum help prevent acne breakouts, making it a great multitasking product.
As always, I wrap up my exfoliation-night routine with the Multi-Peptide Moisturizer. When using the Mandelic Acid, I leave out the Multi-Peptide Advanced Serum.
I don’t know about you, but I love skincare and I love the routine that comes with it. I always enjoy those moments of self-care, but with two young kiddos, I can’t spend forever in the bathroom in the AM or PM. Therefore, having a simple routine such as this provides the act of self-care, while also being Mom friendly.
Cheers to simple & affordable routines!
